Dr. Huaizhi Su, was born in Sept. 1973 at Eerduosi county, Neimenggu Autonomous Region, China. He graduated from Hohai University in 1996, now is a professor at Hohai University. Dr. Su’s research focuses on health monitoring and risk analysis for hydraulic structure engineering, damage tolerance and residual life prediction for hydraulic structure engineering. He led or took part in over 20 key and major projects funded by provinces and ministries in China. He has published over 100 papers. His 50 papers are indexed by SCI, EI and ISTP. He won three Grade-II National Prizes for the Progress in Science and Technology, as well as two Grade-I, one Grade-II and one Grade-III provincial and ministry prizes for progress in science and technology.
