Prof. Teng Bin (1958-), born in Dalian. He graduated from Dalian University of Technology and received his doctorate in 1989. He did his post-doctoral research in Oxford from December 1990 to January 1993. He was "Cheung Kong Scholars Programme" of Dalian University of Technology appointed by Ministry of Education in September 2001. He engaged in the work of waves and coastal and offshore engineering structure. He also had an intensive study on the interaction of nonlinear waves, and deep-sea structures and dynamic response of structures. He proposed new integral equation in the wave, a fast algorithm on the free surface on the proposed second-order velocity potential, and apply this algorithm to calculate the axial symmetry of the third-order wave force on an object. He set up under the action of wave and current all around Radio mathematical model for calculating the pod in the structures under the waves on the climb. He developed a frequency domain and time domain wave on the ocean engineering structures and structural dynamic response of second-order effect of large software packages. Prof. Teng is a winner of a National Outstanding Youth project and the principal investigator of one key project and a number of normal projects funded by National Natural Science Foundation. He published more than 70 papers in the domestic and oversea magazines, among which 11 have been published in the "Coastal Engineering" and "Ocean Engineering" and other international journals, which are cited by others for 20 times. He was awarded once the third class National Science and Technology Progress Award, and twice second prizes, once third prizes of provincial or ministry level science and technology progress awards.
