 Prof. Yongping Chen received his BSc degree in Civil Engineering at Hangzhou University (now named Zhejiang University), and his MSc degree in Coastal Engineering at Nanjing Hydraulic Research Institute, and his PhD degree in Environmental Hydraulics at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. After three and half years’ postdoctoral research fellow experience at the University of Plymouth, he came back to China and joined the coastal engineering research group at Hohai University. His research interests mainly lie in the area of coastal hydrodynamics as well as the assessment of marine renewable energy. |
