Research interests mainly include operations management of water resources large-scale system, management science and system engineering, supply chain management and optimal control. 
    She has been in charge of or involved in more than 30 projects, such as National Science and technology Key Project, National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Social Science Foundation of China, Doctor Subject Fund of Ministry of Education, Public-benefit Industry Project of Ministry of Water Resources, et al. The scientific achievements of ‘Modern water resources scheduling and allocation theory, key technology and application based on multi-agents cooperation and supply chain management’ is awarded first prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of Ministry of Education in 2009, second prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of Province or Ministry three times, third prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of Province or Ministry four times, and some other Outstanding Research Achievement Award of Ministry of Education 10 times. She has published 5 books and more than 150 papers, more than 20 papers are indexed by SCI or EI, the research in water resources system operations management has an original creative meaning. 
    She is a member of INFORMS, a member of editorial board of Lowland Technology International, a member of Resources and Environmental Economics Professional Committee, China Academic Society of Ecological Economy, and a member of Quantitative Economics and Management Science Society in Jiangsu Province. 
She was awarded New Century Excellent Talent Support Program of Ministry of Education, Young leading scientists of 333 High Level Talents Program of Jiangsu Province, Outstanding Young Teachers Plan of Ministry of Education, Outstanding Young Teachers of Cyan-blue project of Jiangsu Province, and High level talents of Six talent summit project of Jiangsu Province. Besides, she was also awarded Young experts with outstanding contributions in Jiangsu Province, Outstanding Postdoctoral in Jiangsu Province, et al.
