On the morning of April 9th, High-level Water Sciences Innovation Forum was opened in Nanjing. It was co-sponsored by the Science & Technology Committee of the Ministry of Water Resources (MWR), Chinese Hydraulics Association, NHRI,Department of Water Resources of Jiangsu Province, Hohai University, and Hydro-Lab. The minister of MWR, Wang Shucheng gave a keynote speech at the opening ceremony. The vice minister of MWR, Hu Siyi, and vice provincial governor, Huang Lixin, attended the opening ceremony. The forum attracted more than 300 participants, including over 10 academicians of Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese of Academy of Engineering, and lots of officials and experts from major water-related government departments and research organizations in China.
