The ceremony of appointing Prof. Song Jingsheng as the Distinguished Guest Professor of Hohai University was held in Hydro-Lab on July 3, 2007. Professor Jeannette Song is Operations area coordinator in The Fuqua School of Business of Duke University. She got her PhD degree in Operations Research, Columbia University in 1991, and has worked with University of California at Berkeley, Columbia University, University of California at Irvine and Duke University since then. She has published tens of scientific papers in internaltion prestigious journals. After the ceremony, Prof. Song gave a talk on "Overview of Inventory Management Research".
