To better organize the Hydro-Lab to conduct high level basic and applied research, and to make the laboratory better known on the research of the impacts of global change on water cycle, the Sino-US Joint Research Center for Global Change & Water Cycle was founded in Hohai University on September 28th. Prof. Yu Zhongbo is appointed as the director of the united research center. He is the professor of the geography department of Nevada University and the specially-appointed professor of the “Changjiang Scholar Programme”for hydrology in Hohai university .
