The 8th International Association of Hydrology Sciences (IAHS) Scientific Assembly and the 37th International Association of Hydrogeologists (IAH) Congress was held jointly in Hyderabad, India during September 6^th to the 12^th , 2009. The Overall Theme of the IAHS/IAH JIC will be “Water: Vital resource under stress- How science can help”, while IAH sessions will focuses on “Hydrogeology of Hard Rock”. Prof. Wang Wen, Prof. Ai Ping, Dr. Wang Weiguang, Dr. Yong Bin and some teacher and students of the College of Hydrology and Water Resources attended the conference and gave presentations.
