   The guideline of the Hydro-Lab Open Research Fund project in 2009 was issued recently. The supported areas of the Open Research Fund include: the rational allocation and efficient use of water resources, the mechanism of flood and drought disasters and disaster prevention and mitigation, water ecology and protection of water environment, coastal engineering and integrated management for estuarine and coastal areas, hydraulic structure safety and new materials.
