The Hydro-Labg held the Sino-German Youth Workshop on Port and Waterway Engineering and Technical Field Trip for German students during October 5^th to the 14^th, 2009. Two professors from Germany, four technicians and eighteen doctors and masters and laboratory members made academic exchanges in the areas of coastal dynamics, port and waterway engineering , coastal protection and so on. Prof. Zheng Jin-Hai is in charge of the workshop. The workshop is co-organized by Hohai University and TU Darmstadt.
