Professor Qingyun Duan, specially-appointed professor of the 1000-elite Program, visited the Hydro-Lab on Oct. 20, 2010. Professor Duan is chief scientist of global change and geography system academy of Beijing Normal University. He got the PhD degree from University of Arizona, specialize at surface water hydrology, especially the development and calibration of land hydrologic models. Professor Duan visited the Hydro-Lab facilities, and made a presentation on the topic of Uncertainty Quantification of Large Complex Dynamical Systems.
