September 29, 2010 ~ October 2, Professor Julio F. Davalos, who is the Benedum Professor of West Virginia University and the director of the Traffic Safety and Structural Engineering Innovation Center, visited Hydro-Lab. September 30, Professor Davalos gave a report entitled "Safety of Civil Engineering materials and structural systems of high-performance" to more than 200 teachers and graduate students. He talked about the FRP composite bridge plate, high-performance concrete, carbon fiber reinforced materials for repairing concrete structures, reconstructed waste wood composite material, and the security protection of underwater tunnel with gas inflation bags.
