During 2010.9.6 - 2010.9.9, 11^th International Symposium on River Sedimentation took place in Stellenbosch University in Stellenbosch, South Africa. The conference was organized by IAHR and World Association of Sedimentation and Erosion Research. Prof. Tang Hongwu, Prof. Zheng Jinhai and Dr. Dai Wenhong took part in the conference. The paper “Protection of bridge piers against scouring with tetrahedral frames” written by Prof. Tang is awarded to be the one of the best papers inInternational Journal of Sediment Research during 2007 to 2009.
