On June 15, 2011, the Burundi delegation led by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mr. Julien NIMUBONA, visited the Hydro-Lab. The other members of the delegation include the president of University of Burundi, Dr. Gaston HAKIZA, president of Burundi High Normal School, Mrs Janviere NDIRAHISHA, the president of Universite Lumiere de Bujumbura, Dr. Charles KABWIGIRI, and the consultant of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Bulongdy, Mr. Emmanuel TUNGAMWESE. They are warmly welcome by Hydro-Lab director, Prof. Peng Shizhang and Vice director, Prof. Wang Wen. Prof. Peng introduced the basics of the laboratory. Prof. Wang introduced the experimental facilities for fundamental hydrology research in the lab.
