On December 10, 2010, the unveiling ceremony for Chuzhou hydrological field experiment base held in Chuzhou. Vice Minister of the Ministry of Water Resources, Mr. Liu Ning, Director of Nanjing Hydrauloic Research Institue, Academician Zhang Jian-Yun, President of Hohai University, Prof. Wang Cheng, and the Mayor oif Chuzhou, Mr. Jiangshan attended the ceremony and unveiled plate of the hydrological field experiment base. The experiment base will play an important role for fundmental research on soil water movement and rainfall-runoff processes.
