On May 21st, Prof. Xu Chongyu from University of Oslo, Geosciences department, gave a lecture named ‘Climate change and water resource modeling: Progresses and Challenges’ in State key laboratory of Hydrology-Water Resources and Hydraulic Engineering. Prof. Xu holds a professor position at University of Oslo, Geosciences department, and serves as part-time professors of Uppsala University of Sweden, Wuhan University and Nanjing Institute of Geography and Limnology. He has studied globe change and its responses in hydrology, hydrologic modeling in different climate zones and various time- and spatial scales for long time.
