The deputy director general of the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs visited the Hydro-Lab

In the afternoon of October 25, 2016, the deputy director general of the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs (SAFEA), Mr. Zhou Changkui paid a visit to Hohai University and the State Key Laboratory of Hydrology-Water Resources and Hydraulic Engineering (Hydro-Lab), conducting special research of the High-level Foreign Expert Introduction Program.

Professor Xu Hui, the president of Hohai University, showed great welcome and gratitude to the guests for their visit as well as the guidance and support provided. Additionally, the vice-president Professor Tang Hongwu gave a comprehensive report of the expert introduction work and future plans in our university. On the basis of the High-level Foreign Expert Introduction Program launched by the SAFEA, our university has made tremendous efforts for upgradation of the international influence of the Water Conservancy Subject at Hohai University, such as vigorously promoting the Thousand Talent Program for Foreign Experts and 111 Project, enhancing cooperation with famous universities, institutions for scientific research and academic organizations in developed countries, as well as building a joint international laboratory. At present, relying on the Hydro-Lab, two bases for the expert introduction work were conducted successfully.

Mr. Zhou granted fully approval on the expert introduction work in Hohai University, and considered the efforts from Hohai University as vital leading force in the entire introduction work of our country. Therefore, the SAFEA will continue focusing on and supporting our university.
